Detained senator Leila de Lima on Friday advised her colleages to do their respective duties and remain vigilant during Saturday's joint session of Congress to tackle the proposed extension of martial law in Mindanao.
"

The neophyte senator was at the Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 34 earlier in the day for the hearing on her disobedience to summons case, but the court moved the start of the hearing to August 25.
Wag ho natin basta-basta lunukin 'yung mga lason na inihahain sa atin ng gobyernong ito," she said.
